Jondle, M.D. - Scientific Advisor

Dr.
Jondle has served as a scientific advisor to Jondle & Associates
since the founding of the firm in 2002.
Dr. Jondle received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, with
Distinction, from Iowa State University. He holds a medical
degree from the University of Iowa. His residency training took
place at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in
Denver, Colorado where he gained expertise in the areas of
anatomic pathology, immunohistochemistry, laboratory technology,
molecular diagnostics, genomics, proteomics, microbiology,
transfusion medicine, coagulation, hematopathology, and
immunopathology. After his residency training, Dr. Jondle spent
a year in Cleveland, Ohio gaining additional subspecialty
training under the mentorship of the world renowned
gastrointestinal pathologist Dr. Robert E. Petras.
Dr. Jondle has spent a significant amount of time in basic
research labs including two summers at The National Institutes
of Health (NIH) learning molecular and cell culture techniques
at The National Institute of Dental Research (NIDR), and at The
National Cancer Institute (NCI). While at Iowa State University,
his research involved the characterization of polytene
chromosomes from Drosophila melanogaster using the Atomic Force
Microscope. He was awarded NIH, Howard Hughes, and Signal
Transduction Training Group student fellowships during his
undergraduate training. In addition, he was the 1996 recipient
of the John B. Balinsky award for excellence in undergraduate
research.
Dr. Jondle has been actively involved in organized medicine at
the local, state and national levels, serving as a member on
several key committees including the University of Colorado
Housestaff Association Executive Committee (Co-President), the
University of Colorado Hospital Medical Board, and the College of
American Pathologists Residents Forum Executive Committee. In
addition, he served as the Resident Delegate to the College of
American Pathologists House of Delegates. He currently serves as
a member of the College of American Pathologists Economic
Affairs Committee and is a member of the AmeriPath
Gastrointestinal Resource Committee. |
